Thick cut garlic thyme french fries

Raise your hand if you are a self-proclaimed fry addict. (ONE OF US. ONE OF US.)

In the late 90s, my niece’s father worked for McDonalds. He would bring home the fabled “Bucket-O-Fries” for my family to share and my prepubescent self could seriously wolf one down myself. That was a super sized drink cup filled with fries, y’all. I really do not want to even think about the calories that I had ingested but dang, McDonald’s fries were the bomb.com.

I still am crazy about fries but it is much more healthier to make ’em yourself! So I present one of my favourite flavour combinations: GARLIC THYME. Honestly, these little babies are so simple to make, you hardly need this recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium-to-large potatoes (I prefer yukon gold but russet are still delish)
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil (I have used vegetable/canola in a pinch)
  • 2 Tsp. Garlic Salt
  • 2 Tsp. McCormick Gourmet All Natural Thyme
  • 2 Tsp. Dried Rosemary
  • Pepper to taste

Crustless Quiche

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup AP flour
  • 1 cup milk (I used 2%)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Half of a block of Monterey Jack cheese, shredded lovingly
  • 4 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1 tablespoon oil (of your choice, I used canola)
  • 3 garlic cloves, smashed and minced
  • ½ of a medium sized white onion, minced
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning (if you like it!) to taste

You will also need:

  • A skillet
  • A baking dish
